Ad networks and marketplace platforms cross-reference at least three data points: IP geolocation, reported timezone offset, and Accept-Language header. MoreLogin exposes all three settings — proxy, timezone, and language — but they sit in different parts of the interface. Step 1: Change the Proxy in MoreLogin

   Open the Profiles list and click Edit — find the profile you want to relocate and click the pencil icon. Edit before launching the profile — changes made while a profile is running may not apply cleanly to the active session.

   Go to the Proxy tab — select protocol (HTTP/S or SOCKS5) and enter the new proxy credentials: host, port, username, password. Use a residential or mobile proxy in the target country. Datacenter IPs are blocked on most ad platforms.

   Click “Test Proxy” — MoreLogin connects to an IP lookup service through that proxy and reports the detected country, city, and ISP. Verify the city matches your campaign’s target geo before saving.

   Save proxy settings but stay in the editor — don’t close the profile editor yet. Timezone and language still need updating to match the new proxy country.

Step 2: Align Timezone and Language

In the same profile editor, navigate to the Fingerprint or Advanced tab. Two fields matter most for location consistency:

Timezone — MoreLogin lets you set this to “Match IP” (auto-detects from the proxy IP) or manually enter a TZ string like America/New_York. “Match IP” is the safer default for residential proxies on static sessions. For rotating proxies where the IP changes each connection, set timezone manually to the target region so it stays consistent between rotations.

Language / Accept-Language — Set to the primary language of the target country. A US proxy should pair with en-US, not en-GB. A German proxy should pair with de-DE. The Accept-Language header is sent with every HTTP request and is one of the lightweight signals platforms check before reading the heavier fingerprint data.

Geolocation API — If the platform you’re operating on prompts for browser geolocation access (some local listing platforms do), enable MoreLogin’s geolocation spoofing and set it to coordinates in the target city. This overrides the browser’s navigator.geolocation values without affecting your machine’s real location.

Testing Location Consistency Before Going Live

After updating all three settings, save the profile and launch it. Inside the MoreLogin browser window, visit a fingerprint check service (PixelScan, BrowserLeaks, or IPInfo) and verify: the reported IP country matches your proxy country, the reported timezone matches the TZ string you set, the Accept-Language header shows the language code you configured, and geolocation API coordinates (if enabled) return the right city. Any mismatch needs fixing before operating on a strict platform.

Managing Location Across Many Profiles

Only if Timezone is set to “Match IP” in the fingerprint settings. If you’ve entered a fixed TZ string manually, the timezone stays at whatever you set regardless of which proxy you assign. Always check the fingerprint tab after every proxy swap.

Can I use a VPN instead of a proxy for MoreLogin location changes?

Technically yes, but not per-profile. A VPN changes location at the system level — every MoreLogin profile routes through the same VPN connection simultaneously.
